October 14th is the first day of school for students. Six public universities and many private ones have opened their doors for the academic year.

The pact for the university has come as a result of the student protest, and it seemed to have brought a new phase fo higher education. But what is the situation in this new academic year?

“It will be the same practice as the last year, with the only difference that only students with their average above 6 will be the ones to pay the tuition fee in half. Students with an average above 8 and 9 will not pay. The scholarships will be distributed equally”, said the administrator of the Faculty of Economy.

Students applying for a master’s degree are the most concerned since only those with an average higher than 9 will not pay tuition fees.
