The President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, said at a joint conference with Serbian President Vucic that the future of Serbia will not be decided in Washington, Moscow or Brussels, but only in Serbia.

“The EU will always be the most trusted partner of Serbia and all Western Balkan. In the summit of Sofia we will confirm our readiness to work for the European perspective of the region”, Tusk added.

One of the topics that were discussed was the dialogue with Prishtina: “I know that this is a difficult matter, but also a strategic solution, which will be rewarded in the end. We have built a community in the EU so that no one pays independence with its blood. We must see the EU as a project with a strategic dimension. Together we can reach almost everything, prosperity, higher living standards, democracy, security and mutual respect for preserving national identity”, the high-level official declared.
