Trump asks Vucic to recognize Kosovo

The US President, Donald Trump, sent a letter to the President of Serbia, Alexandar Vucic, on Serbia’s national holiday. Among many wishes, Trump also asks him to recognize Kosovo as part of the dialogue.

“The US remain firm in supporting your commitment to deepen the regional cooperation, and especially for normalizing the relations with Kosovo”, says the letter published by President Vucic on his Official Bulletin.

Trump asked Kosovo and Serbia to engage for reaching an agreement that will normalize the relations. “We trust that mutual recognition should be the central element for normalizing the relations”.
