While participating in the inauguration of the road that leads to the
Preza Castle, few kilometers from Tirana, Prime Minister Berisha
directed the attention again to Albania’s tourism development.

This is a short 3.2km long road, but the 200 million ALL invested in its construction enable a comfortable connection with Preza Castle, adding the possibilities for increasing the number of local and foreign visitors. Prime Minister Berisha considers Preza as tourist richness for Tirana, an area in which the government declares of having invested 250 million EUR, with a great part of these investments going to road infrastructure.

“Albania comes this year as the most beautiful tourist destination. Albania has extraordinary potentials, but most of all, has its residents, with a unique hospitality in Europe and the world. Let us unfold our hospitality, our natural beauties, to become more and more famous in Europe and the World as a tourist destination”, Berisha declared.

Prime Minister Berisha paid attention to the project for turning Albania into a developed country within the next six years. According to him, despite the difficulties, this might be achieved by putting in function all unused potentials of our country, the water sources, the underground richness and by planting the great olive grooves and fruit trees.

“We have the big chance, the special merit, to turn Albania into a developed country. And we will achieved this, because we took Albania from the bottom of history, from one of the poorest countries in the planet, and we built today a country that has more than 7000 USD incomes per capita, from 204 USD that it had 18 years before. In this entire effort, we are sure that we will realize the dream of our children and our dream, that of turning Albania into a developed country until 2017”, Berisha declared.

Prime Minister Berisha guaranteed the Mayors and heads of communes that the government will finance every project and will improve the life of the Albanian citizens.
