The Municipality of Berat has declared Top Channel’s journalist, Marin Mema, a Citizen of Honor.
Mema was received in a special ceremony, attended by intellectuals, artists, association directors and religious leaders.
“Mema has turned into an icon of Albanian patriotism. His persistence to shed light on our past deserves our gratitude. He has encouraged strong patriotic sentiments among Albanians through his work”, said the Mayor of Berat.
“Albania is a country that is blessed by God and cursed by politicians. With the resources it has, it should have been much better”, Mema said.
