First Islamic University in the history of Albania has been inaugurated in Tirana’s suburbs.

Islamic Community leader, Hajji Selim Muça declared that Islam is not a religion of violence and destruction, but a religion of knowledge.

“The first amendment of the Kuran is ‘read’. We are taking a very important step today for our young people, so that they can read and study”, Muça declared.

The “Sema Foundation” representative, one of the collaborators of Albanian Islamic Community for this university, confirms that schools like this serve to the humanity.

“I believe that these schools will form the architects of the future. Violence will not exist anymore, only dialogue”, he said.

On the occasion of this religious activity, Prime Minister Berisha appealed all Albanians to unite for accelerating the country’s development.

“Let us get inspired from these lessons to respect each other, to distribute the message of our civil spirit and be sure that we will successfully walk toward a future that we are building with many efforts”, Berisha declared.
