The Albanian government was the first one in the region that made the fight against violent extremism a priority.
“With the establishing of the National Center Against Violent Extremism this January, Albania has set a new standard for the rest of the region”, said Leyla Moses Ones, the representative of the US Embassy in Tirana.
Moses said that in order for this great job to continue with good results, the USA will keep offering assistance with more than 5 million USD of funded programs.
