After several failed attempts to create an air company in Albania, and after the successful model of Air Kosova, Air Albania is the first Albanian air company.
Its first and still only airplane, AirBus A139, is taking its third flight to Istanbul, this time with artists and journalists.
In this flight, messages and writings are in Albanian language. The communication of air hostesses makes you feel you didn’t leave your own country.
This October, Air Albania will offer flights for all Albanians. Istanbul will be the first destination, but it will be followed by other European capitals.
Albcontrol, the state-owned company that represents Albania, has cooperated with MDN Investments and Turkish Airlines to make this feat possible.
Turkish Airlines has undertaken the training of Elvis and Bruna, the two directors of Air Albania. Both are very pleased to work with one of the biggest airlines in the world, and they are proud especially for the fact that this airline will be speaking Albanian.
