The Albanian Accursed Mountains attract tourists and artists

“Bjeshket e Namuna”, the Accursed Mountains of Albania, are part fo the Euroepan Alps. The majestic wilderness can be seen as soon as you travel from Peja, Kosovo.

Getting closer to the Rugova Ravine you can already feel the freshness of the forests, and hear the sound of the Lumbarhi River.

Painters find inspiration in this area, while daredevils hunt for adrenaline in rock climbing, bike trips and other sports.

This and the rich biodiversity make this area a very attractive place for tourists especially from Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Germany, and even from as far as Australia, the USA and the UK.
