An Albanian court has rejected today a request by the new special prosecution structure known as SPAK, for the suspension of investigations against a network of Balkan extremists who according to intelligence reports were building the infrastructure to carry out terrorist acts at Loro Borici Stadium in Shkodra.

Based on this information the aforementioned football match between the national teams of Albania and Israel was relocated from Shkodra to Elbasan. The injunctive order for SPAK was announced by Judge Ardit Mustafa.

The subjects Ergys Faslia, Xhezair Fishti, Medat Hasani and Bekim Protopapa, suspected of preparing to carry out terrorist attacks on the Albania-Israel football match, will continue to be investigated by SPAK, despite being released almost a year ago due to expiring investigation time limits.
Meanwhile nine arrested in Kosovo for the same charges, were found guilty by the Basic Court of Pristina.

According to the Basic Court, some of the detainees have relations to Lavdrim Muhajeri, killed in fightings in Syria and considered a high-ranking member of the ISIS islamic extremist organization . The latter is thought to have given instructions to the implicated in carrying out terrorist attacks.
