The Parliament approved in a plenary session with 72 votes in favor and 0
votes against or abstaining the decrees of the Albanian President for
the nominations of Edmond Ismailaj and Shkelzen Selimi as judges of the
Supreme Court.

Based on the changed regulation, the Albanian parliament nominally voted the decrees of the President.

But the Parliament rejected with 64 votes against the decree of Judge Manjola Bejleri, although all four SMI deputies voted for her.

The first to vote from the SMI was Lefter Koka. After he voted in favor, the Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli expressed her surprise. But after that, the deputies Ilir Meta, Nasip Naço and Vangjel Tavo also voted in favor.

Both deputies of the Party for Justice Integration and Unity abstained, together with the Republican deputy Fatmir Mediu and the Democratic Party Deputy from Durres, Gazmend Oketa.
