Supersport and Public TV boycott Super League

Albanian Public Television (APTV) and “Supersport” have decided to boycott this week’s direct broadcasting of Albanian Super League matches, due to some disagreements with the Albanian Football Federation (AFF).

According to its schedule, APTV should broadcast the capital city’s derby, Tirana-Dinamo, and “Supersport” the pretender’s matches, “Flamurtari” and “Skënderbeu”.

APTV decided to boycott the broadcasting after not being able to find an agreement with AFF on the broadcasting time for this match.

“Supersport” directors, part of the Digitalb platform, also accused AFF’s behavior towards them.

On the other hand, AFF forbade the national team players and Coach Josip Kuze to release any live interview to “Supersport” after the last matches against Slovenia and Belarus.

“Supersport” wants to clarify that they are one of main national team’s sponsors and that they have bought the broadcasting rights for all Albanian Super League matches.

All financial obligations have been paid in full accordance with the contract that AFF seems to disrespect.
