Traditional costumes of Struga, an important city for the Albanian population in Northern Macedonia, are now part of the Albanian National Museum of History, a generous donation from Sadije Veseli, a Struga Albanian writer who has been living in the USA for a long time.

One of the costumes is a traditional dress that was used by her grandmother, more than 1 century old, all hand-made.

“This is more than 100 years old. It was used in her grandmother’s wedding and was kept in the family, which makes it unique. Struga is one of the most important areas of ethnic Albanians”, says Dorian Koci, Director of the National Museum of History.
