On behalf of his government, the Spanish Ambassador in Albania, Rafael Perez, gave the “Order of Gratitude”
to four Albanian high rank Police
officials, including the General Vice Chief of Police, Agron Kulicaj.

The Spanish ambassador declared that the medal is an order of “Civil Guard Merits” in Spain, a rank honored by the entire Spanish community. The representative of the Spanish Embassy valued the contribution of the Albanian Police in the war against organized crime and the cooperation between the police of both countries.

The decoration of four Police officials came after the arrest of the Albanian citizen, Astrit Bushi, in the town of Laç. Bushi has been one of most wanted persons in Spain, accused for dozens of crimes.

His arrest in Albania made the headlines all over Spain, because Bushi had attracted the attention of the local public opinion with his crimes.
