SP: Tirana legal battle continues

The Socialist Party refused to recognize the result announced by the Central Election Commission for the new Mayor of
Albania’s capital, Tirana. They claim that the process has clear
evidence that prove the electoral crime that has ruined these elections
and that has plunged Albania in a deep economic crisis.
Speaking from the Socialist Party Headquarters, MP Eglantina Gjermeni declared that the legal way for reaching justice will continue, because there are undeniable facts of manipulation.
“Ristani’s CEC announced a result that was based on law violations. The disappeared envelopes, the added papers, the ballots that have traveled from one voting center to another are clear evidence of what is happening. SP will follow the legal battle until the end, convinced about the justice of their cause”, Gjermeni declared.
