SP reacts for the fiscal amnesty

The Socialist Party reacted after the declaration of the Minister of
Finances, Ridvan Bode, who expressed his conviction on the success of
the fiscal amnesty.

“We heard Ridvan Bode speaking of amnesty. He pardoned the electricity
bills and those of the running water. But Sali Berisha admitted that 270
thousand Albanian families, more than 13 of the total population, do
not have the necessary income to pay these vital services. Six years
after leading the government, 11 years after participating in the
Albanian state, these are Berisha’s achievements. Do you know why 13 of
Albanian families do not have the necessary income to pay the energy
bills? 1 million Albanians are unemployed. It was officially admitted
that 20 thousand people lost their jobs in the recent four years”, Beqja
declared.

“The Albanians are unable to pay the energy bills, because since when
Berisha came into power, the energy bills have increased by 60%. The
Albanians cannot pay the energy bills, because bread, cooking oil, sugar
and rice are more expensive, due to the monopolies of Berisha’s ‘royal court’.
The Albanians are unable to pay the energy bills, because they have been
impoverished by the flat tax, all of them, teachers, doctors, nurses,
policemen”, he emphasized.

One day after the fiscal amnesty law was passed at the Parliament, the
Finance Minister declared that the final acts will be ready and the law
will enter in act at the beginning of May.
