Hundreds of protesters, organized by the Socialist Party in Gjirokaster,
gathered yesterday at the main square of the “18 Shtatori” area of this
town, protesting against the delay that the Central Election Commission
is adding to the Tirana result.
The protesters, leaded by the winning Mayors of Socialist Party in Gjirokaster and Tepelene,
appealed to join Tirana protesters and guard the free vote at any cost.
Other protests are expected to continue in Tepelene and other southern cities, while hundreds of Socialist supporters are expected to join protesters in Tirana.
