The Socialist Party met with its allies to analyze the current political situation in the country.

After the meeting, the 26 parties of the ruling coalition came up with a joint declaration, in which they state that the renouncing of Parliamentary seats by the opposition has damaged the country’s national interests.

The SP and its allies declare that the harsh rhetoric and appeals to use violence for political purposes will only destabilize the country, taking it back to the difficult years of 1997 and 1998.

The political group supports the Electoral Code amends that includes the participation of emigrants in elections, and the usage of technology for electronic ballot counting.
