SP: Manipulation proofs

Socialists are requesting the invalidity of the voting process in 284 voting centers, and consequently in the entire electoral area of Tirana.

SP experts underlined the fact that the number of voters is 256,507, while the number of total found ballots is 257,377, a difference of 870 ballots more than voters.

5362 of these ballots are invalid, therefore, according to the material, there are 626 ballots more than the official number of votes, which shows that minimally 626 ballots have not been assessed.

According to the calculations and analyzes of the Socialist experts, the number of assessed ballots shows 244 votes more than the ballot papers found.

The request of the Socialist Party says that all these contradictions and inconsistencies make this an illegal and inaccurate legal act.

SP emphasized that the summary table that was approved by CEC is not a legal document, because it contains data that go against the Electoral Code.

The legal documentation, the electoral materials and the data of more than 284 voting centers are not in full accordance with the Electoral Code.

The difference of 93 ballots between the winning candidate and the second candidate is much smaller than the number of electors in the voting centers where the election materials are against the Election Code, and much smaller than the number of additional ballots that were found in the boxes.

It further says that the total sum of valid and invalid votes, when compared to the number of voters for Tirana Municipality, in 109 voting centers, is 248 ballots more than electors. 248 ballots that do not express the electors’ will. While in 175 other Voting Centers, there are 506 ballots less than voters. The will of 506 electors has not been expressed.

According to the Socialist Party, there are only 40 voting centers where the difference was balanced, but afterwards they have been transformed into boxes with irregularities, resulting with 75 ballots more.

Meanwhile, 99 other voting centers result with missing ballots. The appeal of the Socialist Party is followed by video images that for the Socialists prove what has really happened.

Ballot box 1941 was initially balanced, 517 voters for 517 ballots. But after May 14th, CEC has found four other ballots for Mayor in another box.

Even the video images show that all papers are yellow and everything is balanced, but the intervention of the Central Election Commission changed the balance by giving a result of 517 voters for 521 ballots.

The Socialists have collected other similar proofs in a 65 pages long document, for many other boxes. The Socialists say that no one can be declared as winner with 93 votes ahead, when the number of inconsistent ballots is much higher than this difference between the candidates.

According to the Socialists, these facts and many others give them the right to ask for invalidity of these elections.
