For the second time in three weeks, the Socialist Party will gather its National Assembly, as decided.

The speech of the Socialist leader, Edi Rama, will mark the opening of the meeting and will be based on the results that came out of the discussions that the Socialist Party had with their base in several districts. They will discuss the future stances of the Socialist Parliamentary Group in the Albanian Parliament, a decision that up to now had been frozen, but for a non long-term boycott.

Same as in the meetings with the ambassadors, the members of the SP National Assembly will see a detailed presentation of the scheme that according to them was used for manipulating May 8th elections. SP says that this scheme starts right after the end of the process that announced Rama as winner. The material and the proofs will be distributed to each member of the assembly.

Tomorrow’s meeting will discuss about the tour of MP Arben Malaj, with the members giving their respective stances. The last point of this assembly is the one that regards the elections inside the structures of the Socialist Party, a process that, according to SP headquarters, will end in September.
