SP: “CEC failed to investigate DP money. Prosecution must act”

One day after the Central Election Commission published the spending of the Democratic party, Socialist MP Taulant Balla said that there will be law amends for the transparency and funding of parties.

For Balla, the Central Election Commission failed to verify the contracts of the Democratic Party. The only institution that can investigate now is the Prosecution.

“There are suspicions that the protest tent of the Democratic Party was funded by Russians”, Balla said.

Yesterday, the Central Election Commission published the financial report of the Democratic Party for 2017, detailing the spending of the main opposition party.
