The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, said that the local elections will be held normally and the opposition will be part of the electoral process.
He said that the US justice has proved that the judiciary in Albania has unfortunately dealt with smaller fish, as a US court rejected the lawsuit filed by the son of former PM Sali Berisha, about him being involved with the Gerdec tragedy.
“Gerdec is a state crime. The politics now can no longer impact the judiciary. Whoever thinks that justice forgets can be very wrong”, he said.
