On the sixth day of the hunger strike, the health conditions of 22 protesters have deteriorated.

Although some of them have heart problems, limb contraction and blood pressure irregularities, they say that will not give up until their demands are met.

“Health conditions are deteriorating because of blood pressure, contractions and heart rate. I appeal the government to take a decision for us”, said the striker Mybere Prizreni.

“The doctors told me yesterday to leave the strike, but I will stay with my friends until the end. We have been demanding these rights for three years, and no action has been taken. They lie. I will not give up, even if I die here”, says striker Kujtim Sargo.

The head of the Council of People with Disabilities, Sinan Tafai, said that the government is expected to react in a few days on the economic problems of tetra and paraplegics.
“The contacts that I am having with the Ministry of Labor and other personalities say that this case is being studied and the government will take action. I hope that today or tomorrow, at most, they give an answer on what they offer. They are responsible because these demands should have been studied a long time ago, and a real institutional agreement should have been created”, Tafaj added.

One day ago, Ministry of Labor representatives visited the site where the strike is being held, facing the revolted strikers.
