Six fires broke out in the forests of Kruje and Fushe Kruje.
The firefighters verified that the flames have spread towards the mountainous area of Krasta.
The fire has approached the military dynamite depots, but the intervention of the firefighters has avoided danger.
Five fire engines were used, and the specialists report that at least 50 hectares were burned down.
“The burned area is very considerable, and the fire has been intentionally set. We hope that the State Police will arrest the arsonists”, declared Dilaver Laci, General Director of the Fire Department.
The flames endangered some residences in this zone while advancing the mountainous area where it is impossible for the firefighters to intervene.
