The trial of Emiliano Shullazi, considered a very dangerous criminal by politicians and diplomats, has been postponed once again.

This time, the reason for postponing the trial against him and four other defendants was the  lack of a response from the High Council of the Judiciary.

The case has been at the Courts of Appeal for a year and the process hasn’t started yet.

The Court of Appeal Against Corruption and Organized Crime declared on December 23rd that they would ask the High Council of the Judiciary about what will happen to judges delegated from other districts and who cannot be part of the judge panel, due to their status.

Prosecutors admitted this issue and said that they have to wait for a solution from the High Council of the Judiciary.

The High Council of the Judiciary addressed the Special Court of Appeal, saying that no decision has been taken yet and that the  Council is still working on it.
