The Shkoder Court of Appeal has released eight out of 11 Kukes protesters who were arrested after the violent clashes at the Nation’s Road, when the government started applying the toll fee.
Prosecution demanded to leave the suspects in prison, providing more footage from the protest.
The lawyers demanded an immediate release.
Members of the Democratic party went to Shkoder while Police took strong measures for a normal procedure.
“Free Kukes citizens, arrest Tahiri”, protesters wrote on their banners.
