Serbian Minister reacts to US Ambassador, who said that Kosovo is independent

The Serbian Minister of Defense, Alexandar Vulin, known for his pro-Russian stances, reacted to the declaration of the US Ambassador to Belgrade, Kyle Scott, who said that Kosovo is an independent and sovereign country.
Scott responded to a Serbian journalist this Monday, who called Kosovo’s “so-called government”, and said that it is not “so-called”, but the “Government of Kosovo”. The ambassador added that “The USA recognizes Kosovo as a sovereign and independent country, who are the elected by the people of Kosovo. The USA has contacts with them the same way as with other state representatives in the region”.
The Serbian Minister declared that if the US Ambassador would give such a declaration in front of President Vucic, he would be sent out of Belgrade’s government building.
