The municipality is already building the “Holiday Village”on the Skanderbeg Square, which is made of many wooden houses that will offer several entertainments to citizens.
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, inspected the preparations and said for the media that children deserved to have a beautiful city center, decorated for the holidays.
“It’s incredible how warm this November has been. It feels like summer, rather than a holiday season. However, cities are preparing to start holidays a bit earlier, such as Berlin, London and New York. By request of so many children in Tirana, we are starting a bit earlier because I trust that children deserved a beautiful city center during the entire holidays”, Veliaj.
