Russia has accepted Kosovo’s state symbols at least in sport.
Russia, the biggest supporter of Serbia, which organizes the Judo Masters this month, has allowed Kosovo to keep its national symbols during the championship, thanks to the President of the Judo World Federation, Marius Vizer.
Kosovo’s coach, Driton Duka, thanked everyone who made it possible for Kosovo to be equal to other countries.
Kosovo’s national champion, Majlinda Kelmendi, will not be present in this championship, but the country will be represented by Nora Gjakova and Distria Krasniqi.
