The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said from Permet that it is now time for the Mayor of their town to go home.
According to Rama, the Socialist Party has done in 5 years for Permet more than it has been done in 25 years.
“We have proved it that we are the only ones who can build the country. The Permet Municipality needs a person who doesn’t waste the taxes.
As for the recent political developments, Rama said that the opposition is preaching violence: “The images of this Saturday damage Albania and the life of everyone who lives here. The violence of this Saturday damages our European path. The Albania of 2019 was damaged by the ghosts of 1997, only so that Sali Berisha can save himself from justice, and Lulzim Basha can keep his post”, Rama said.
