Rama sends manipulation evidence to ambassadors

US, UK and EU ambassadors did not personally participate in this meeting, but they sent their vices.

Opposition leader Edi Rama presented a series of video evidence, secured by the Socialist Party expert group, which show the inconsistencies between the number of voters and the number of total ballots that were found in the boxes.

According to SP headquarters, this meeting was very necessary for presenting the facts that prove the irregularities of the final summary table that was tabulated by the Central Election Commission.

Right after the meeting, the EU ambassador in Tirana, Ettore Sequi, made a short comment for the media

“We were presented to the facts, and that was it”, said Sequi.

The details of this meeting were made public by Socialist MP Damian Gjiknuri.

“The purpose was to make a demonstration in front of the diplomatic body, and to everyone all the violations that were found by the Socialist Party investigations and that were made public through the media; to show our legal arguments, based on good international practices and similar situations that have been solved by the Electoral College, all of which explain why these elections should be considered as invalid and why they must be repeated”, Gjiknuri declared.

During this meeting, SP explained to the ambassadors that the Electoral College has had similar cases in the communes of Kolsh and Armen, where they have ordered the elections to be repeated after finding inconsistencies between the number of voters and the number of total ballots.

The meeting with the ambassadors starts the new mission of the Socialist Party for internationalizing the evidence that were found. Sources say that the manipulation evidence will be sent to the European Union and the US State Department.
