Following the opposition DP ‘s request for the authorities to conduct as many tests as possible against Covid-19 in the country, Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted by rejecting flatly the suggestions.
In a message on Twitter, he wrote that it’s not the government or the opposition to decide how many tests will be carried out, as the decision is made by the Technical Committee of Medical Experts.
“Can anyone tell the DP that the government does not decide how many tests are carried or not carried out?! Much less will the government take DP’s suggestions for this job! The test strategy is done by the Technical Committee of Experts! The government implements what the Committee and the experts decide! The DP talks nonsense, full stop!”, was Rama’s reaction.
