Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, asked the help of the international
community, in order to protect the country’s stability. He also asked
the Albanian President to intervene and protect the national unity.
During his speech, Rama expressed his regret for the fact that the European Commission President canceled his visit in Albania. Rama said that
this must be interpreted as a significant signal of the European
Commission for Albania’s current conditions.

“We won the local elections and everyone heard and saw the vote counting process in real time. The overturn of this result on the tables of the Central Election Commission is unacceptable, same as the masquerade that created the ballot papers, which were inserted in ballot boxes by the thieves”, Rama declared.

The Socialist leader declared that there will be criminal suit at the Prosecution Office against four Central Election Commissioners that are committing a crime.

“Every Albanian that believes on the future of this country, every common man that believes on the best option for this country, must know that we will not back off. We are standing, and there is no dictatorship that will stop us for as long that we will breathe”, Rama declared.
