The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared that in the next weeks, the Parliament of Greece will vote the law for recognizing Albanian driving licenses.
Rama made this announcement after discussing the same law with the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, so that Albanian driving licenses can be recognized in Germany as well.
“Many friends keep asking about the recognition of Albanian driving licenses in Germany, I want to inform you that I have discussed this request, which has been treated officially for a long time, but it was discussed directly with the Chancellor only yesterday.
“A delegation from the German Ministry of Transportation will arrive this February in Albania to compile a report regarding the recognition of driving licenses.
“On the other hand, since we’re on this topic, we were informed by the Greek government that in the upcoming weeks, the Greek parliament will recognize the Albanian driving licenses, as agreed between our countries”, Rama declared.
