Opposition leader, Edi Rama, visited Kavaja for the May 8 local election campaign. He had organized a meeting but preferred to walk along the town streets, accompanied by Socialist candidate for Mayor of Kavaja, Elvis Rroshi.
Rama walked on foot to the city center, accompanied by left centered supporters from Kavaja, and met local residents, listening to their problems.
“My mother is 77 years old, and she sits on the foundations of my unfinished house and says that she will die there”, one citizen complained.
“We can meet whenever you want, but I cannot offer more than my free words. You should vote our candidate on May 8th, to liberate the Kavaja municipality. He will solve the problem”, Rama answered.
