The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared that the government has identified 42.000 employees who have been declared by companies with minimal wages, and this is intolerable.

“Companies are evading the income tax for pensions, and this situation cannot be tolerated”, Rama says.

The Prime Minister warned stronger measures against companies that abuse the payment declarations.

“We will recognize only the balances that companies declare in banks. Big businesses must start a self-regulation process. The rule of law is stronger than ever”, Rama said.
