Prevention of oncologic diseases

The prevention of oncologic diseases at women, advanced diagnosing
methods for a better health in women, and also issues that regard new
mothers and their babies were in the center of discussions at the
scientific conference that was held between well known Greek and
Albanian gynecologists at Hygeia Hospital, Tirana.

“We treated the issues of prevention, diagnosing methods, sophisticated equipments and several analyses that we offer, in order to prevent diseases such as breast and cervical cancer, and also to treat them, in order to give the babies healthy mothers that will grow healthy children”, said Leonidas Papadopulos, obstetrician-gynecologist.

Hygeia Hospital has all up-to-date equipments that help diagnosing in time diseases that could seriously risk the life of a woman, if neglected.

The coordinator of the Gynecological Clinic at Hygeia Hospital in Tirana, obstetrician-gynecologist surgeon Dr. Vasil Angjeli emphasized that appropriate prenatal checkups during pregnancy, early diagnosis, latest equipments and modern methods of invasive and surgical treatments that are implemented at this Greek hospital, set new standards for the health service in Albania and for the health of new mothers and their children.
