President Topi visits Turkey

The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, accompanied by the First Lady, Teuta
Topi and an official delegation has started today the three-day visit
in Turkey, with the invitation of the Turkish President, Abdullah Gül.
After the homage at the Ataturk Mausoleum, President Topi was attended with a solemn ceremony by President Gül.
Both Presidents held a meeting that was followed by the that of the respective delegations.
The Presidential press office says that in this meeting, the Presidents valued the excellent relations between Albania and Turkey, the traditional, historical and cultural link between the two people, and expressed the common interest for intensifying the cooperation in all aspects, especially in important areas for the economic development and prosperity of the two countries.
