The British Lord Richard Best promised in a meeting with Albanian
President Bamir Topi to continue the common projects in the region for
extending the network of scientific researches, in order to give an
opportunity to the Albanian students and from other regional countries
to earn scholarships at British universities.
The Albanian President Press Office notifies that the meeting with Lord Richard Best, President of the International Consultative Board of Research Center for Southeastern Europe, was held as a continuity of the excellent relations between Albania and Great Britain.
The Albanian President emphasized that Great Britain is for Albania a friend and a strong ally in the road of fulfilling EU aspirations.
The British ambassador Fiona McIlwham was also present in this meeting where the Head of the Albanian State spoke about the challenges that Albania faces for EU integration, and the important role that international partners have in this process.
Lord Richard Best expressed Great Britain’s support for concluding Albania’s integration aspirations in the big European family.
