The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, published his message to Turkey on social networks.
“With deep concern and sadness, I am following the situation in Friendly Turkey, hit by the tragic earthquake.
“Very shocked by the human casualties, I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of all the Turkish people and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, praying that there will be no more loss of life.
“I wish to all the injured of this natural disaster a fast recovery.
“In these difficult moments, the Albanian people and I stand by our friendly Turkey”, President Meta declared.
