The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, decreed the replacement of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“The appointing of the Prime Minister as Foreign Minister is a special case, not foreseen by the Constitution. The President looked into the proposition based on the Constitution and the Constitutional Court Jurisprudence”.
