Top Channel’s investigative show “Fiks Fare” reported this Monday a scandal among the state police ranks.

A police chief is caught on camera dealing with a citizen for 30,000 EUR in exchange for enabling drug traffic.

A 40-year-old from Polican had property issues with Police Officer Julian Balliu, Chief of the Shkdoer Road Safety, now appointed to Tirana.

The citizen says he paid 30,000 to the family of the officer for a property and for issuing a construction permit for a fuel station in Mbrakull. The permit resulted problematic and the officer had not returned his money since 2013.

Fiks Fare proved through hidden cameras how the Chief of Police says that he doesn’t have the money, but in exchange, he could offer 200 grams of cocaine that he would receive from Italy.
