After the completion of the recent IMF mission in Albania, the Minister of Finances, Arben Ahmetaj, declared that thanks to this partnership, Albania has a consolidated macro-economic and fiscal situation.
“The economic growth has kept accelerating. The growth for the first six months is 4.4%, from 3.8% that it was in 2017. It is expected to be 4% for the entire year”, Ahmetaj declared.
“The enlargement of the economic activity was reflected on the job market as well. The unemployment has dropped and more jobs were created”, the Minister added.
