Pandeli Majko, now State Minister for Diaspora, spoke in Parliament about the need of allowing emigrants to vote.
He said that the Albanian politics as responded to the demands organized by emigration centers around the world.
“Relations with our diaspora represent a new priority of this government. Those who live abroad have experienced a lack of communication with the state. We are going to cooperate especially with our neighbors for immigration matters”, Majko said.
“Cooperation with Kosovo will be a first-hand obligation. We must share our good experiences and the duties we are facing with our nationals”, Majko said.
