OSCE to parties: “You must conclude electoral reform by July”

The time for words is over. The OSCE wants concrete results for the judicial reform and its completion within July, although the program of the Special Parliamentary Commission goes beyond September.
“The term o the Special Commission was extended and I strongly recommend the Commission to finalize the electoral reform within this deadline. The preparatory steps that the Commission has undertaken so far have been praiseworthy. This is the time for concrete results. ODIHR recommends that serious efforts are needed as regards the vote purchase issue, through criminal prosecution, in order to reinforce the trust on the election process. We are watching the violation cases very closely and we are looking forward for more lawsuits and court verdicts”,. Said Bernd Borchardt, OSCE Ambassador.
The Ambassador gave this message to the Judicial Reform Commission, which is co-chaired by the Democratic Party MP Bylykbashi and Socialist Cuci.
