After the Prime Minister Sali Berisha, OSCE ambassador Eugen Wollfarth
opposed the appeals of the Red and Black Alliance against population registration.

From Permet, Wollfarth appealed the Albanian citizens to participate in the registration process, as a key moment that will help Albania’s progress.

“I join those who invite people to participate in the population registration, because this will help with the progress and the future of the country. I see the population registration as an opportunity for developing the country at all levels, starting with the municipalities. I am aware that there are different point of views regarding population registration”, Wollfarth declared.

Right after this declaration, the Red and Black alliance reacted by emphasizing that after the law for population registration hide specific purposes of Greece.

“It is completely anti-constitutional that these data can prevail upon our Registrars Office. The most urging country for this registration was Greece, and the silence of the Minister of Innovation shows Albania’s submission”, declared Redi Ramaj, executive director of the Red and Black Alliance.

It remains to be seen how will continue this clash that has divided the Red and Black Alliance and its supporters against the government, which has promised that will not back away from this action.
