Another police officer has been added to the list of implicated officers who are wanted by the justice for trafficking cannabis.

Julian Balliu, the officer shown on “Fiks Fare” negotiating drug traffic, is being investigated by the Prosecution of Serious Crimes for the time when he was Chief of Road Traffic in Lushnje.

Balliu is accused of favouring the circulation of a truck that should have been loaded with timber, but after leaving Albania, it was caught with 2.5 tons of cannabis.

Since that day, January 13th 2017, when the cannabis was seized, the investigation has been conducted by Albanian and Italian Prosecutors.

For the same load, a Fier Police official has been arrested, Festim Lelaj while two Durres Customs agents and Border Police are expected to appear in court.

Balliu is being investigated for the case shown on Fiks Fare as well, where he was filmed negotiating the traffic of 200 grams of cocaine to a citizen who he owed money.
