Nurses need to take 10 credits a year for renewing their licenses, but it seems that the procedure has turned into a business.
The companies that were accredited to complete the process, have allegedly given points and certificates in exchange for bribes, with applicants not being present at all.
The Order of Nurses has reported the phenomenon, saying that three accrediting companies had their licenses removed for this reason.
