The Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, spoke from Berat about the negotiations with Greece, making it clear that there will be another meeting between him and the Greek counterpart, Kotzias.
“I will meet with mu counterpart this week, to discuss the possibilities of finding an agreement for the delimitation of marine borders. In parallel, there will be another meeting with the negotiation team. This is a process that has entered an irreversible phase. Both parties need their time to go towards an acceptable and fair agreement, and acceptable for all”, he said for the media.
When asked about informing President Meta, Bushati said: “It is normal that the president wants information about such matters. There has been institutional and human communication with the President. After every round of talks, we have made available to the president the steps that have been taken in this process”, Bushai said, adding that the negotiation s with Greece are not related to the decision for the EU accession negotiations.
