Municipal Unit 9, Basha 27, Rama 26 ballots

The Central Election Commission closed the counting process for miscast ballots in Municipal Unit no.9 of Tirana.

There were 27 miscast ballots in favor of the Democratic Party candidate, Lulzim Basha, and 26 for the opposition leader, Edi Rama. Basha is still leading with 73 votes against the Socialist leader.

The members of this process are currently having a short break, before starting to count the miscast ballots of Municipal Unit 10, which has 20 boxes.

OSCE ambassador Eugen Wolfarth held a meeting with CEC Chairman, Arben Ristani, in order to secure the integrity of this process.
